Overview: Transit staff will provide an update on the North-South Bus Rapid Transit (NSBRT) project including a brief project overview, a description and timeline of 60% design and engineering milestones (including station design), and next steps. The Public Transit Committee, comprising representatives from Town of Chapel Hill, Town of Carrboro, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, received the presented information in Fall 2023.
Recommendation(s): That the Council receive the North-South Bus Rapid Transit (NSBRT) project update.
