“At Silverspot we believe in creating a no-hassle movie-going experience for our guests,” said Francisco “Pancho” Schlotterbeck, CEO of Silverspot Cinema. “Silverspot offers a sophisticated, chic cinema experience for movie goers featuring plush seating, first-class dining and premier service. We are so excited to be a part of the Triangle community.”
With 13 screens at its new University Place venue, Silverspot Cinema will showcase more than just traditional Hollywood fare. The cinema will show alternative programming including independent films, award-winning foreign films and a cultural arts program featuring ballets, concerts and a global opera series including The Met. Silverspot Cinema has partnered with innovative restaurant company, David Burke Group, to create Trilogy, a contemporary American café featuring innovative twists on classic dishes. In addition to dining before or after the show, guests may order dishes, cocktails, wine and beer from Trilogy to enjoy during the film for an enhanced cinema experience. Chapel Hill is Silverspot Cinema’s third location in the United States, joining their Naples and Coconut Creek, Florida locations.
