Bûche de Noël – Make and Take

Saturday, December 13, 2025 (11:00 AM - 12:00 PM) (EST)

Description

In this hands-on class, each student will learn to make every element of a classic Bûche de Noël, including the sponge cake, filling, and buttercream. Then, you’ll put everything together and decorate your own festive Yule log to take home and enjoy!

Bûche (with a circumflex over u) means “log.”

Noël (with a diaeresis over ë) means “Christmas.”

Together, Bûche de Noël means “Christmas Log,” referring to the traditional Yule log cake.

The Yule log holds cultural and symbolic importance in various traditions, often representing warmth, prosperity, and the cycle of the year. Participants in this class will each prepare their own yule log to take home with them and share for their holiday celebrations.

Cone bring a friend or family member, and make one of these beautiful holiday creations to take home and enjoy at your family or work!
